Love Wednesday

Acts 16

In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were faithful about the Father’s business when obedience led them into trouble. They were beaten, imprisoned, and placed in chains—not because they were wrong, but because they were aligned. Yet in that dark place, their lives still reflected Jesus. They understood authority, submitted to the process, and refused to let pain rewrite their posture.

Instead of complaining, they prayed and worshipped. Their praise was not a reaction to comfort but an expression of intimacy. Even in confinement, their focus was not escape but faithfulness. They showed us that love for God is loudest when it costs you something.

When God intervened with an earthquake and the prison doors opened, they did not run. They stayed, because those whom the Son sets free are free indeed. Their obedience protected lives, brought salvation to the jailer, and turned a prison into a place of testimony.

This month of February, may your testimony be so loud that others will announce it for you. Just as the prisoners would go and speak of the miracle Jesus performed, may people carry the story of what God has done in your life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You are favoured

You are preserved
