Love Wednesday: MAKE DEMANDS!

The negotiation between Moses and Pharaoh was an interesting one. Moses knew what God’s will was, and he knew God’s position on the way the Israelites were being treated. Because of this, he remained resilient in his demands. Pharaoh, on the other hand, was oblivious to all of this. He, too, was insistent on his wishes, plague after plague, until he could not hold out anymore.

There were thousands of Israelites alive at the time this exchange was happening, but they could not be at the forefront because they were not connected with Abba. One might wonder where Moses’ confidence came from—going before the king of the superpower of the world at that time, a ruler who enslaved people, and repeatedly demanding that he release his slaves. There is only one correct answer: Moses’ connection with Abba. Through his connection with God, fear gave way, doubt gave way, and failure gave way.

As the leader of your family, your team at work, your children, and those who look up to you, you need to know God’s will and intentions—just like Moses—and make demands based on them.

God made His will and intention known to Moses. He instructed Moses, and Moses, together with Aaron, acted on God’s will and instruction. Even after what seemed like a failure, they kept going again and again until they got what they wanted. Do not be afraid of anything or anyone standing as a door between you and what God has promised you.

With Jesus’ death on the cross of Calvary, He has paid for everything you will ever need. That, right there, is the biggest door that has ever been and will ever be opened to mankind. All your needs—the ones you’re aware of, the ones you’re not aware of, the pressing ones, and the ones you deem as not so important—have all been paid for. All you need to do is make a demand. But like Moses, do you truly know what God wants for you? Do you know how He wants you to go about making the demand?

That is why His will is as important as your wants. To maximize your partnership's potential with God and make other doors open to you without stress, you must know God’s will—and you can’t know that by spending time away from Him.

‭‭Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jesus, speaking to His disciples, said:

“I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe you’ve received it, it will be yours.”

What is that thing you have needed, for which you have received confirmation from God, or are certain is His will? Like Moses and Aaron, do not be deterred. Go forth today and make your demands in the name of the Lord, just as Moses did, and your victory shall be established.

You are favoured!

You are preserved!!

We love you!!!

God bless you!!!!

A TIME WITH ABBA❤
